Club DJ
The Club DJ plays music for an audience in a nightclub setting, creating an upbeat and energetic atmosphere. They must have excellent knowledge of current trends in electronic dance music, and be able to mix different genres together seamlessly to keep the night interesting. The DJ will also consult with management on selecting appropriate songs for each event, as well as promoting upcoming shows. Their responsibilities include mixing tracks before and during events, ensuring smooth transitions between tracks; participating in conversations with customers regarding musical preferences; and actively monitoring the club's sound equipment for technical difficulties or malfunctions.
